The Rape of Delaware County

I thought I would share an interview I participated in with Dr. Ed Devries in April of last year, promoting my book The Rape of Delaware County of the TBR History Hour. The book is the story of veteran Edwin Turlington’s encounter with a convicted felon on his [Edwin’s] property. Edwin was attacked and had to shoot the felon in the leg to protect himself. But instead of pursuing charges against the felon the local sheriff’s department pursued charges against Edwin. What transpires afterword is the story of corrupt politicians and law enforcement officers that would eventually make international headlines when the former Delaware County , Oklahoma Prosecutor was arrested in a murder-for-hire / prostitution plot.
